Irish women poets oral history collection, 1999.

The collection consists of oral history interviews conducted by Danielle Sered of Irish women poets in 1999. The interviews were conducted in Ireland as part of the Emory University International Scholars Program. With each writer, Sered explores how contemporary Irish women's poetry writing enriches the reading of poetry as a whole, where do issues of nationality, religion, history, and gender intersect, how politics enter into poetry, and can poetry serve a healing function - personally, nationally, and globally.
